Five men are under arrest in Pinellas County, accused of holding up a bar -- and they may be linked to several other robberies.

Deputies arrested father and son Troy Griffin Senior and Junior, Tevin Major, Juwaan Roberts, and Craig Koonce. They're charged with armed robbery, among other crimes.

Deputies say the group entered the Twin Horse Saloon in St. Pete around midnight, wearing masks and armed with guns, then robbed customers of cash and cell phones, and hit one victim in the head with a pool cue.

An employee called 911 as the group ran in, and within minutes, deputies arrived.

Manatee County investigators responded and say the men arrested have been on their radar, and they think the crew is connected to at least a dozen similar armed robberies.

"It's kind of a relief around here today," offered Dave Bristow of the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. "We still have a lot of work to do. We haven't charged any of them officially, but it looks good at this point."

All of the suspects are from Bradenton.  Manatee authorities are working to connect their cases.
