A theater full of eager kids waiting to see "A Minecraft Movie" were met with an unbelievable surprise over the weekend in Los Angeles.
Actor Jack Black showed up to say hello – and issue a Chicken Jockey warning – before the movie began.

Footage filmed by Robert Kim shows the audience full of kids erupt in cheers when they realized Jack Black had just walked into the theater.
Video shows the theater listening to a person’s voice saying, "For today’s presentation of "A Minecraft Movie", please, no throwing popped corn, and also no lapis lazuli, and absolutely no Chicken Jockey!"
That person turns out to be Jack Black as he made his way down the theater stairs and presented himself in the front of the room to be met with an eruption of screams.
He was wearing a hard hat and holding a pickaxe.
He walks his way through some of the aisles, waving his pickaxe and cheering with the kids, who all almost immediately stood up and pulled their phones.
What is Chicken Jockey?
The backstory:
"Chicken Jockey" is a well-known and rare character event in the Minecraft video game when a baby zombie comes out riding a chicken.
Spoiler: The character makes an appearance in the movie in a scene involving Black’s character, and the moment has manifested into a viral trend to cause a raucous in the theater when it happens.
Videos have shown kids throwing popcorn, yelling and jumping up on their seats when they see Chicken Jockey.
