Missing: 'Suspicious circumstances' surrounding Largo lawyer's disappearance, police say

Largo police say there are "suspicious circumstances" surrounding the disappearance of Steven Cozzi, a Pinellas County lawyer with Blanchard Law, P.A.

Cozzi was last seen Tuesday, March 21. Police alerted the media that he was missing Friday, March 23. 

Largo PD has been tight-lipped about the nature of Cozzi’s disappearance and did not release where he was last seen or a physical description. 

Police search law firm business complex

Cozzi was reportedly last seen at his workplace, Blanchard Law, P.A., Tuesday, March 21. A co-worker was searching for Cozzi, but never located him. 

Meanwhile, employees in businesses near the law firm where Cozzi works said the building was filled with detectives and police Tuesday after Cozzi went missing.

They said investigators were in-and-out of the communal bathroom near Blanchard Law.

Apparent fingerprint dusting residue still covered the door of the bathroom Friday.

Husband pleads for information

In a post on Facebook, a man who says Cozzi is his husband pleaded for information about his missing loved one.

"My husband, the love of my life is missing since Tuesday.  I will not stop until we bring him home. Anyone with information should contact the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730," the post said.
