Motorcyclist dies after crash that shut down I-275 northbound lanes Friday, FHP says
TAMPA - A Winter Haven motorcyclist is dead after a crash that closed down the northbound lanes of I-275 Friday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Northbound lanes on I-275 shut down as first responders respond to possibly fatal crash.
Investigators say the 47-year-old victim collided with a Telsa Model 3, driven by a 49-year-old Lithia woman, after the motorcyclist crossed over into the entrance ramp lane just north of milepost 43.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The Lithia woman and her 19-year-old passenger were not injured during the incident.
