Multi-vehicle crash closes southbound I-75 in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. - Florida troopers are investigating what led up to a multi-vehicle crash in Sarasota.
The southbound lanes of I-75 were in the area, but they have since reopened. Traffic was being diverted to Bee Ridge Road and drivers were able to re-enter the highway at Clark Road while crews worked on scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
