Overnight visitor turns out to be large alligator
LUTZ (FOX 13) - A Bay Area homeowner got a scaly overnight surprise: A noise at the door in the middle of the night turned out to be a large alligator.
A trapper responded to the home in the Heritage Harbor community -- that's right along the border between Hillsborough and Pasco -- and wrangled the 9-½-foot gator.
Capt. Phil Walters said it took two ropes and a roll of tape to subdue the unwelcome houseguest.
