Evacuations
Pinellas County will lift mandatory evacuations at 5 p.m. when they open bridges to the barrier islands.
Pinellas schools status
All Pinellas County Schools will return to normal operations on Thursday, August 31.
The University of South Florida's Tampa and Sarasota-Manatee campuses will reopen and classes will resume Thursday, Aug. 31. However, their St. Petersburg campus remains closed and classes are canceled for Thursday.
Other reopenings
St. Petersburg City Hall, City offices, and facilities will be open during normal operating hours on Thursday, August 31.
All Parks & Recreation facilities in St. Pete will return to regularly scheduled programming, including childcare starting on Thursday.
The St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport will reopened at 3 p.m. Wednesday and flights will resume Thursday. Travelers should check their airlines for flight status.

Locations opened Saturday; each household can receive a maximum of 10 sandbags:

Gulfport
There is 10-bag limit and proof of residency may be required:
- 49th Street Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th Street South, Monday, August 28 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Tuesday, August 29 from 8 a.m. until inclement weather or while supplies last.

Trash collections
Normal trash and recycling schedules will resume Thursday morning, Aug. 31.
