Publix celebrates 'Chocolate Chip Day' with free cookies
TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - It's National Chocolate Chip Day and Publix is celebrating with free cookies!
The grocery store says in honor of Chocolate Chip Day they are offering free samples of their famous chocolate chip cookies.

Customers just neet to stop by Wednesday, May 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Publix bakery to get their hands on the yummy treats.
In honor of the day, Publix shared some fun facts about their cookies:
-Each cookie is packed full of about 45-50 semi-sweet chocolate chips
-Publix has been using the same recipe for more than 30 years
-Publix bakeries sell about 1,182,976,680 chocolate chip cookies every year, which means they use more than 5.9 trillion chocolate chips to make Publix chocolate chip cookies
-Kids always get cookies for free and Publix gives out more than 10 million of them every year!
