Ride in the cockpit of a Blue Angels jet during Florida salute to healthcare workers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The US Navy Blue Angels flew over parts of Florida on May 8 in a show of support for front line workers during the COVID-19 crisis.
The 20-minute flyover was in salute to COVID-19 first responders, the Navy said on Instagram. This followed similar demonstrations in other US cities, including Dallas and New York.
“Residents should observe the flyover from the safety of their home quarantine and should refrain from traveling to see the flyover.
Social distancing should be practiced at all times,” the Blue Angels added in the post.
