Road rage leads to shooting at Tampa Wawa, police say
TAMPA, Fla. - One person is recovering from injuries after being shot at a Wawa gas station during a road rage encounter, the Tampa Police Department said.

According to TPD, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Wawa at the intersection of N. 50th St. and Columbus Dr. around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

One person was shot during an encounter that started because of road rage, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The person who was shot is expected to survive and told investigators that road rage led to the shooting.
The shooter is cooperating with police, TPD said.
