ST. LOUIS, Mo. (STORYFUL) - The Saint Louis Zoo welcomed a new addition in December when a male black and white colobus monkey was born.
The baby monkey, still unnamed, was born to 18-year-old Cecelia on December 29.
Cecelia is the dominant female of the colobus monkey family in the zoo, and already an experienced mother.
The baby has a one-year-old sister as well as two brothers, aged two and three. He also has a half-sister called Binti who is four years old.
A press release from the zoo said the baby’s father, 11-year-old Kima has been watching over his family and has also interacted with the younger monkeys.
