TAMPA (FOX 13) - Early Sunday morning and Sunday night will provide excellent opportunities to check out the 2017 'Buck Moon.'
The moon will be at its fullest point shortly after midnight Sunday morning. The full moon will also be visible Sunday night and into Monday morning.
According to Space.com, the Buck Moon "appears during the time when the new antlers of buck deer push out from their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur."
Sunday's Buck Moon will be the seventh full moon of this year’s lunar calendar.
