Sunshine Skyway Bridge closed as Debby brings high winds, heavy rain
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol shut down the Sunshine Skyway Bridge late Sunday as Hurricane Debby continues to bring high winds and heavy rain to the area.
FHP said drivers will need to use alternate routes until conditions improve enough to reopen the bridge.
