Mileskiewicz refused to come out, so deputies physically removed her, investigators said.

A witness told investigators that the suspect became angry with the dog without warning, and armed herself with a pocketknife before trying to stab the dog.

Deputies said the 2-year-old pit bull sustained two lacerations on his back, but the injuries were not life-threatening.

She was booked into the Hernando County Detention Center with a bond of $3,500.
