Florida woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend's dog, deputies say
SPRING HILL, Fla. - A woman is facing animal cruelty charges after the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said she stabbed her boyfriend's dog multiple times.
According to HCSO, deputies responded to a Spring Hill home where they found the suspect, Megan Mileskiewicz, 23, hiding behind a tool shed in the backyard.

Mileskiewicz refused to come out, so deputies physically removed her, investigators said.
A witness told investigators that the suspect became angry with the dog without warning, and armed herself with a pocketknife before trying to stab the dog.
Deputies said the 2-year-old pit bull sustained two lacerations on his back, but the injuries were not life-threatening.

After the incident, Mileskiewicz told investigators that the dog was "bothering" her, and she became upset and "made a mistake."
Mileskiewicz is charged with animal cruelty and resisting an officer without violence.
She was booked into the Hernando County Detention Center with a bond of $3,500.
