Squirrel to blame for Busch Gardens power outage

TAMPA, Fla. - Power was restored at Busch Gardens about four hours after a squirrel invaded the park's substation, according to Tampa Electric Company.

The entire park was initially without power, with some parts being restored around 1 p.m.

Park guests were asked to visit a ticket window for possible refund options or email BGA.guestinformation@seaworld.com.

Bush Gardens said guests with a Busch Gardens Tampa Bay ticket could it to get into SeaWorld Orlando or Adventure Island on Saturday.
