Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill in St. Petersburg has placed a pirate ship float anchored at the bar for four years up for sale.

Ferg’s announced the sale of the float a few weeks before Gasparilla.
"I hope somebody takes good care of it and makes me proud seeing it being used all the time," Mark Ferguson, owner of Ferg’s and the pirate ship, told FOX 13.
The float has been used for Halloween celebrations, live music and sporting events. But the time came to build a new concert stage behind Ferg’s. As a result, space became an issue.

So, something had to walk the plank.
"We're going to do more concerts. Just takes up too much room, that's all," Ferguson said. "We love the ship. Just don't have enough room."

That means the two-floor, two-bath ship is now on the market: At 35 feet long and 15 feet tall, it’s complete with waves, a treasure chest, and a pirate. It can hold about 25 people.
For any seafarers wanting a closer look, the ship is currently anchored off 16th St. N, ready to set sail with its new owner.
Potential buyers should call Ferguson at 727-742-5957. The ship is listed for sale at $10,000 or your best offer.
"I'll miss it," Ferguson said. "But things come and go."
