St. Pete filled with Pride after successful parade
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - Saturday was a perfect day for the St. Pete Pride Parade.
It’s the 16th year of the parade for a festival that draws hundreds of thousands to the Bay Area every year.
Parade-goers said it’s all about love, equality, and acceptance for everyone.
Rainbow flags waved high and the outfits were as colorful as they come. It was smiles all around.
This the second year the Trans Pride parade kicked off the Saturday night festivities.
Security was tight, but no major problems were reported.
The view from SkyFOX showed the parade route along Bayshore Drive lined four and five people deep.
The party continues Sunday with the St. Pete Pride street fair from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
