ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A 16-year-old has been charged with attempted murder in connection to a shooting in St. Pete early Sunday morning that critically injured a 15-year-old.
According to the St. Pete Police Department, the 16-year-old is an acquaintance of the victim.

Police responded to the Isles of Gateway apartment complex just before 4 a.m. on Sunday to find the 15-year-old suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
He remains in critical condition at Bayfront Health, according to police.
