Suspect at-large after McDonald's parking lot shooting death

A Tampa 20-year-old has died after an apparent drug deal gone wrong in the parking lot of McDonald's on South Dale Mabry Highway Friday night.

Police showed up after someone called 911 to find 20-year-old Nicholas Mortazavi in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

He later died at the hospital.

By the time police got there, the shooter was gone.

Detectives said they questioned persons of interest but no arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon.

Tampa police said Friday they believed the incident may have been the result of a drug deal, but were not able to further confirm details of the shooting.
