An ATM was stolen, and police say the suspects who took it could be linked to another burglary.

On January 4 just after 2:30 a.m., the two unknown people used a brick paver to smash the front door of The Cut Barbershop, located at 902 Busch Boulevard West in Tampa, according to police.

Tampa police say after the suspects entered, they removed an entire ATM and fled in a Volkswagen Passat. The ATM has since been recovered, but it’s unclear if or any money was stolen from inside.

On February, just before 2:30 a.m., two people, believed to be the same burglars from the barbershop business, used a long metal pry tool to open the front door of a Sprint store, located at 5004 Fowler Avenue East in Tampa. Police say they were seen in surveillance video walking toward the pay station at the back of the store, but were not able to steal anything from it.

Police say they only stole a Bluetooth speak from a display, and fled in a Volkswagen Passat.

The suspects covered their bodies with dark clothing, detectives say, making it difficult to identify them. The Volkswagen is described as a white 2014-15 model.
