Tampa man arrested, charged with first-degree murder after shooting in December: TPD
TAMPA - An arrest has been made after a shooting killed one person on Dec. 22 in Tampa, according to the Tampa Police Department.
What we know
Police say that the shooting happened on the 9400 block of N Brooks St. after a verbal altercation between the shooter and the victim.
Xavier Alamo, 22, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting that killed a Hispanic man in his mid-30s.

When officers arrived, they found the victim on the porch of the home with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Charges
Alamo has been charged with one felony count of murder in the first-degree.
He has a pre-trial detention hearing on Friday and remains in jail without bond.
