Tampa police investigating shooting that injured teenage girl
TAMPA - A teenage girl was injured after a shooting in Tampa near N Tampa St. and E. Cass St. early Wednesday morning, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Police say that officers were patrolling that area of downtown as part of the New Year's Eve Operation when they located the victim.
The injured teen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say they are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
Police haven't said if they have any possible suspects.

Investigators also say that this incident does not appear to be related to a previous shooting earlier in the evening.
