Tampa-St. Pete ferry hits the water in November
TAMPA (FOX 13) - There's finally a time frame for the much talked about ferry service between Tampa and St. Petersburg. The ferry will arrive next month.
Starting in early November, the ferry will run on the weekends. Then by the end of November, it will be ready for weekday commuter and recreational trips.
The 55-foot ferry that can carry 149 people. The trip will go between St. Pete's yacht basin at Bay Shore Drive NE and dock in Tampa by the convention center.
The ride will take just under an hour. Tickets will be $10 each way.
