TAMPA (FOX 13) - A teen was hit by a vehicle on E. Sligh Avenue in Tampa Friday.
The intersection of N. Rome and E. Sligh avenues were closed for more than an hour while officers investigated the cause of the accident.
Police say 16-year-old Jephté German-ROgers was not in the crosswalk when he was hit. It happened at about 3:45 p.m.
The teen was hospitalized, last listed in critical condition.
The driver stayed at the scene. No charges had been filed.
