Three found dead at Bradenton home in double-murder, suicide
BRADENTON (FOX 13) - Three people were found dead at a Bradenton home Monday afternoon in what deputies are calling a double-murder and suicide.
Neighbors report hearing frequent arguments coming from the home on 38th Avenue W. That's just west of DeSoto Square Mall.
"We walk outside and they'll be arguing again it's like an ongoing situation so it's a normal everyday thing for them," said one neighbor.
Neighbors tell us they're all family members.
Deputies have identified two of the victims as Odalys Martinez-Castiles, 50 and Zakyel Hernandez, 12.
"We don't have a motive at this point but we've been here in 2009 for a domestic violence report," said Sheriff Brad Steube.
"I am devastated I heard the news I didn't want to believe it was her," said a friend of Martinez-Castiles.
"She was a lovely person she was a really nice person," she added.
Wanda Collins lives next door. She says Hernandez would often play kickball with her grand kids.
"Like, I'm shocked," she said.
Deputies have yet to release the third person's name, pending the next of kin notification.
