Twins graduate with 4.0s in biomedical science from USF

TAMPA (FOX 13) - From stereotypes to scientific studies, there are many reasons to believe twins share a connection unlike any other.

The bond shared by twins Johnathan and Matthew Willman is no exception.

When you see one Willman twin, you're likely to see the other. Since birth, they have moved through life side-by-side.

"We like to make meals together, work on the same projects, so yeah we're very close," Johnathan said. 

The 23-year-olds just graduated from the University of South Florida, both with degrees in biomedical science.

"A lot of the topics... we both find interesting," said Matthew.

The duo took all their classes together and both earned a 4.0 grade-point-average.

"It's sort of the culmination of everything that we've been doing for the last three years," Jonathan said. "We would compare to see who got the best score and almost always have nearly identical scores."

Growing up, the twins say there was one disadvantage to being twins: Celebrating birthdays together. 

"Our parents would only get us one cake, and I was always under the impression that there should have been two," Matthew laughed.

The twins don't plan to separate any time soon. They hope to be accepted into the same medical school.
