Two cross-dressing robbers caught, one at large
WINTER HAVEN (FOX 13) - Two cross-dressing men, suspected of robbing Home Depots in Polk County, were captured in Louisiana.
Omar McCrae and Malik Taylor, both of Tampa, were found over the weekend in a Jefferson Parish hotel. One suspect, Exavier Ellis Walker, 20, of Tampa, remains at large. Polk County detectives believe he is still in the Tampa area.
Detectives suspect the trio stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in gift cards from a Lakeland Home Depot back in June.

McCrae and Taylor are suspected hitting a Winter Haven Home Depot on Thursday. Surveillance video shows the two suspects putting a 69-year-old female clerk in a choke-hold while activating at least 10 gift cards worth $100 each.
Both ran off with nearly $1,400. Detectives said sthe duo still had some of the stolen gift cards when they were arrested.
Walker was released from state prison on May 1 after serving time for robbery and grand theft, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. They say he has had 29 prior felonies and 22 prior misdemeanors in Florida.
