Veteran-owned Bullfrog Creek Brewing brings craft beer to Valrico

VALRICO, Fla. - Bullfrog Creek Brewing is a veteran-owned brewery and restaurant located in Valrico. It was founded in 2017. 

"I fell in love with craft beer in the Army and brewed a little beer at home. I realized we needed a brewery in this area," Bullfrog Creek owner Jamie Ratcliff said.

The brewery is very family-friendly and loads their calendar up with events almost every day of the week.

"It’s really cool to that people come here and can actually enjoy something as a family," said General Manager Alexandrea Volovar. 

Bullfrog Creek offers a variety of beers from sours and IPAs to lagers. A couple of years ago, they won Best Florida Beer for their Irish Red, named "After Work Beer." 

The "Valrico Vienna Lager" also recently won a bronze medal in a national competition.
