VIDEO: Gator casually strolls through golf fairway

While it’s not an unusual to find gators at a Florida golf course (or any part of the state, really), but it’s still an amazing sight to see.

Bobby Ruzzi captured this latest video at the Osprey Point Golf Course, a Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation owned-and-operated facility in Boca Raton. The gator seemed oblivious to the attention as it crossed the fairway and entered the lake.

In early June, a gator was captured at an Englewood golf course after a diver was bitten by it; at a Trinity golf course, a video captured a gator with a huge fish in its mouth in March; and a golfer casually pushed a gator back into a lake in Orlando.

According to FWC, alligators are found in every Florida county. As the human population grows, residents have more encounters with water (i.e. living in waterfront homes, participating in water-related activities, etc.) Basically, this means there are more frequent alligator-human interactions.

If needed, FWC provided more details on safety tips.
