Nadya Yousef stood surrounded by pastors and the community Tuesday evening at a vigil for her two brothers.

”Khasem and Faares were not just my brothers they were our best friends,” she said.

The two brothers were shot to death last week while working inside their family’s convenience store.
The crime was so brutal -- it still seems hard to comprehend.

“I just keep thinking of how their murderer could look at their faces and shoot them how did he do that,” Yousef explained.

“We did everything together we were always together we miss everyone now that’s all gone,” said the boys’ father Raed Yousef.

As the community stood together and prayed candles flickered, the hope is, a gathering like this doesn’t ever have to happen again.

“It is hard to describe in words the impact this incident had on my family,” said Nadya Yousef.
