Deputies believe Honors was under the influence during the pursuit.
While driving a Dodge Ram Pickup truck, Honors continued onto U.S. 19 northbound at speeds topping 100 mph, FHP says.
Pinellas County deputies used spike strips near Curlew Road and a trooper performed a PIT maneuver just south of Tampa Rd, ending the pursuit.
According to FHP, Honors was taken into custody by deputies and booked into Pinellas County Jail.
The suspect faces charges of fleeing and eluding deputies, driving under the influence, and driving without a valid driver’s license.
