Winter Haven woman missing for nearly a week, police say

UPDATE: Winter Haven police say Amy Millen was found safe, and her family was notified. No other details were provided.

A Winter Haven woman has not been seen for almost a week, and police say they want to find out if she is safe.

Winter Haven police say 40-year-old Amy Millen was last seen in the early morning hours of March 15 with friends in the 600 block of Avenue B NW and stayed at a home overnight. Friends say they last heard Amy in the front part of the home around 4 a.m.

Police say, according to friends, they went to check on her, and found the front door open, and Amy was gone. She left behind her personal belongings, including her purse. Police said they were notified of her disappearance on March 19. 

She has no known medical conditions, according to Winter Haven police. She is described as 4’11 feet tall, weighs about 90 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. She has a large tattoo on her left bicep, a small tattoo on her left hip, left wrist and one on her hand. 

“Her family is desperate to find her,” police said in a statement.
