Summerleigh Stones joined the FOX 13 team in July 2026.
Summerleigh grew up in Orlando and is excited to be back in her home state, telling stories that matter to the community she serves.
After graduating from the University of Florida in 2022 with a degree in journalism, Summerleigh spent more than two years as a digital content producer at Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers. During her time there, she was a finalist for a Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists Award for her coverage of the Wade Wilson murder trial, a case that captivated Southwest Florida.
Before joining FOX 13, Summerleigh worked as a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines in Dubai, where she traveled across six continents, traveling the world and gaining a unique perspective through experiences with people and cultures from around the globe.
Outside of work, Summerleigh enjoys reading books, traveling the world, discovering new coffee shops, spending time with her friends and family, and, of course, cheering on the Florida Gators.
