Universal Orlando 'encourages' mask use by guests, requires employees

Universal Orlando Resort is revising its policy on face-coverings for employees. Employees, or “Team Members” as they are referred to by the company, will once again be required to wear masks when indoors in guest areas, regardless of vaccination status. The new policy takes effect beginning Saturday, July 31.

Hot Butterbeer now a year-round offering at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando said a seasonal favorite will now be offered year-round. Hot Butterbeer, “the toasty version of the popular Butterbeer beverage in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” had only been offered during the winter season.

Florida's theme parks no longer requiring face masks outdoors

Visitors at Disney and Universal no longer need to wear their masks outdoors, but must still cover their faces inside and on rides. Busch Gardens and SeaWorld, however, are allowing fully vaccinated guests to remove their masks throughout their theme parks.
