More than 12 hours after a shooting erupted into a fire that left two officers injured and 6–8 people unaccounted for, detectives are beginning what officials expect to be a “grim" and “complicated" investigation inside an East Lansdowne home.

Prosecutors shared new details in the investigation into 32-year-old Justin Mohn, who is accused of beheading his father at his family's Levittown home and holding up the severed head during a deranged YouTube rant.

Three Philadelphia police officers were ambushed by gunfire while responding to a shooting Wednesday night in Northeast Philadelphia, authorities said.
