Subtropical Storm Don continues to lose strength

The storm is expected to weaken as it encounters cooler water temperatures. Tony says that Saharan Dust is limiting any tropical activity, and no storms are expected to form over the next seven days.

He says it has a 50 percent chance of developing tropical or subtropical characteristics over the next week, but it will not make landfall. Weber is also watching Saharan dust travel off the coast of Africa, which is keeping things fairly quiet in the tropics.
