Gov. DeSantis signs 'Miya's Law' to improve apartment safety
The goal of a new Florida law is to keep renters safe, and the bill was recently signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis. It's named in honor of Miya Marcano, the young college student who was killed by a maintenance worker at her apartment complex last fall.
