Venice police arrest unlicensed contractor accused of scamming elderly resident after Hurricane Ian

Police in Venice say an unlicensed contractor from Orlando targeted an elderly resident with damage from Hurricane Ian, convincing the man to give him a check for over $23,000 as a deposit for roofing work.
