Authorities are searching for a plane that reportedly crashed in the Gulf of Mexico

The Coast Guard, Venice Police Department and other agencies are searching the Gulf of Mexico for a plane and at least one missing person and a single-engine aircraft after the FAA says a plane took off in Venice, but never reached its destination.
