Endangered Species Day helps educate to recover species

Back on December 27, 1973, President Richard Nixon signed what is arguably one of the most important pieces of conservation legislation -- the Endangered Species Act. The main goal is to prevent extinction and to recover species, and one way is through education. On Endangered Species Day, Larry Williams with the US Fish and Wildlife Service spoke about the day with FOX 13's Linda Hurtado.
