TD 4 forms; Bret remains just shy of a hurricane
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Bret and Tropical Depression #4, which formed early Thursday morning. Tropical Storm Bret’s wind speed are just five miles an hour shy of becoming a hurricane. However, Weber says if it does become a hurricane it will be short-lived as it heads into the Caribbean and begins to battle wind shear. Tropical Depression #4 is trailing behind the tropical storm and as of 11 a.m. it had wind speeds of 35 miles an hour. If winds reach 40 miles per hour, Tropical Depression #4 will become Tropical Storm Cindy, which may happen on Thursday.
