Couple adopts horses to save them from slaughter

A Bay Area couple are on a quest to improve the life of horses. Allen and Cherina Bornscheuer own Serenity Stables. Their passion grew even more when they discovered older horses were being sent to kill pens to be slaughtered for meat.
