Florida flattened the curve, but economy may yet suffer more

Florida lagged other states in ordering state-wide coronavirus shutdowns. And yet, the state appears to have passed the peak, based on the data, earlier than expected. It appears to be a combination of factors that make Florida unique from much of the nation.
