Operation Safe Childhood

It’s an easy way to entertain kids, but handing your child a device to go online can introduce them to people they should never be talking to. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27 such people this summer, resulting in more than 250 charges. The sting was done to protect local kids from online predators.
