Severe weather: Tornado warning for parts of Sarasota County

SARASOTA, Fla. - Rotation was detected in a storm over Sarasota County late Monday morning, prompting a tornado warning from the National Weather Service.

Strong winds were reported around Utopia and Hidden River. 

Anyone in the southern sections of Manatee County should also watch the weather and current alerts.
