Annual golf tournament celebrates old traditions

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - In Temple Terrace, an annual golf tournament is a blast from the past.

The Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is preparing for their 8th annual Hickory Hacker Golf Tournament.

The tournament celebrates the “game of yesterday,” said Charley Belcher, FOX 13’s feature reporter, and features wooden clubs, old-fashioned golf balls and knickers.

The tournament will be this weekend, and is free to the public to attend.
