Tampa artist's work showcased in 'Bar Rescue'

If you’re a fan of the Paramount show “Bar Rescue,” you probably have seen the artwork done by a Tampa artist.

The show is about showcasing different bars across the country with a declining business. Jason Hulfish has some creative magic, and has created cool installments in hopes of saving the specific bar. But you may have also seen his hand work on the football field, as Jason designed specialty cleats for several athletes, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Gerald McCoy.

Jason is always working on something interesting, whether it’s restoring old Lowry Park statues to be installed at the Tampa restaurant, Ulele, or creating something brand new in hopes of finding it a home one day.

Jason’s “The Hulfish Project” is a great example of an artist using his skills to carve out a niche in a tough market.
