Epic teddy bear toss at hockey game breaks record
HERSHEY, Pa. (STORYFUL) - Fans at the Hershey Bears' hockey game in Hershey, Pennsylvania, helped the team break a world record with an epic teddy bear toss after the team beat their rival.
Ali Lanyon shared a video on Twitter of fans showering the arena with thousands of bears onto the ice after the team's 6-3 win over their New York rival.
More than 34,000 bears were tossed onto the ice, shattering a previous world record of 28,000.
The stuffed animals thrown onto the ice will be donated to dozens of different charities, according to Lanyon. "This.Is.Amazing," she posted.
