Exhibit features art from city of Clearwater employees
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Second Century Studios has opened a new art show called Clearwater Employee Art 2.0.
Throughout the month of August, art created by nine Clearwater employees will be on display.
The mediums included metal sculptures, oil and acrylic paintings, photography, digital art, and even quilting designs.
“I’m displaying my work in the show because it’s a great opportunity for fellow employees to show that we do other things," Fleet Operations Trainer Lance Kielich said. "I had a friend of mine say to me 'I know you, but I really don’t know you.' I thought that was a pretty general statement of all city employees.”
The exhibit will be open Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. through August 24.
The city will host more events throughout the year. For more information and event calendars, visit downtownclearwater.com.
