Experience Clearwater Bay through the eyes of a marine biologist
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Boat tours are back at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
For the first time in about a year, the public can climb aboard the Sea Life Safari as it roars back to life on Clearwater Bay.
In addition to a captain, the 90-minute Sea Life Safari also has a marine biologist on board, which allows guests to experience real-life data collection on the Bay.
The marine biologists put a net into the water to collect a bunch of different organisms from the Bay. Then and they tell those on board what they are seeing and answer questions.
Marine biologists also collect data while on the Bay to keep track of its health and see how major events such as red tide and oil spills impact it.
